In just 30 minutes, oral arguments will convene here in downtown New York City in the 2^nd Circuit Court of Appeals!

We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time, and, as every gun owner in New York State knows, there is a lot riding on the outcome of these proceedings.

Last year’s Bruen decision from the Supreme Court was crystal clear. Any future gun control laws at the state or federal level need to comply with the historical use of guns in America.

That’s not spin. It’s black and white.  

“To justify its regulation, the government may not simply posit that the regulation promotes an important interest. Rather, the government must demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation. Only if a firearm regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition may a court conclude that the individual’s conduct falls outside the Second Amendment’s “unqualified command.”

But just like tyrants throughout history, Kathy Hochul thinks that she is above the law. So she threw a middle finger at the Supreme Court, the Second Amendment, and you and me when she signed last year’s gun control bill into law.

Today, we fight back.
