The time for talk and legislative action is over.
The gun control law that Kathy Hochul signed into law last year is the definition of tyranny.
Hochul’s law all but ends concealed carry, requires permits to buy semi-auto rifles, establishes an ammo registration scheme, and lets government agents examine your social media account as a condition of applying for a pistol permit.
Chairman Mao would be proud.
We can’t fix this in the legislature.
The place to deal with Hochul is in Federal Court, and that’s where we are headed on MONDAY MORNING!
NYSFA’s legal team has already engaged, filing the most aggressive Amicus Brief that the court will consider!
And NYSFA’s political team will be on hand Monday, as well, giving you real time updates on what happens in court.
Let’s be honest, no one likes going to NYC. You can’t carry. Criminals aren’t held in jail after being arrested. Traffic is horrific. The list goes on.
I don’t expect NYSFA members to come to downtown NYC for this.
But I do hope that you’ll consider an immediate donation to help us finish the fight in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, and to prepare to fight this fight in the United States Supreme Court!
