We’re facing the biggest expansion of Federal gun control in DECADES and without your help, we’re going to lose a huge piece of our Second Amendment freedom.
Let me explain quickly.
Ever since Biden got into office, we’ve been bombarded with gun control pushes from Congress, the ATF, unconstitutional Executive Orders, the Attorney General’s office, and more.
Some of it has been very serious and very dangerous. Some of it has been laughably stupid and seemingly impossible to enact or enforce, a ploy to lull gun owners into inaction.
But early this morning, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the ATF, and Attorney General Merrick Garland released a new 466-page “rule” that goes into effect 30 days from now that seeks to define those who are “‘Engaged in the Business’ as a Firearms Dealer.”
The New York Times described the new rule this way:
“The Biden administration has approved the broadest expansion of federal background checks in decades.”
You might be thinking “New York already has universal background checks on the books, so why should I care?” The truth is, this is FAR WORSE than just a federal background check law and will impact gun owners in New York as much as anywhere else.
To start, do NOT be fooled by the “Firearms Dealer” language surrounding this “rule” — this move was made with the intent to ELIMINATE all private sales of firearms in the United States by dubbing most firearms sales as a Dealer Sale.
Biden’s end game here is to fill up a giant government database with the name of ANYONE in America who makes a private sale of a firearm.
And if you don’t ask permission from the ATF first, virtually anyone selling a firearm for a “profit” could be subject to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
This is full-blooded tyranny, a vicious hatred of gun owners and patriots.
The fact is the fight to invalidate this rule needs to take place in court.
And that’s why the New York State Firearms Association is announcing that we will be taking legal action against the ATF and their new “rule” in the coming days!

The details of this legal action and whether we’ll be filing a standalone federal lawsuit, joining another organization in a joint lawsuit, or using Amicus briefs are still being worked out.
But we’ve already set a goal of raising $25,000 by May 10 so that we can give the go-ahead to our lawyers to begin the prep work that is absolutely needed to wage a legal battle on behalf of gun owners.
But what we know now is that it’s going to take ALL of us standing shoulder-to-shoulder together to WIN this battle in court.

This is just the beginning.
Biden desperately wants this “win” for the November elections.
Biden wants this win in case he LOSES, but even worse, he wants this win so that the groundwork is laid for MASSIVE gun control expansions should he WIN in November!
Make no mistake about it, if this new “rule” is not defeated in court, Joe Biden and his ATF will move to ban AR-15s and other rifles or worse.
