As you know, things are happening very quickly with NYSFA’s lawsuit against Kathy Hochul.
The initial lawsuit was already been filed, but we are now asking the Federal judge to issue an emergency Temporary Restraining Order to block the enforcement of this law pending the outcome of our lawsuit.
The reasons for the TRO are practical, not just Constitutional.
After all, as we told you last week, Hochul’s ammo registration system simply does not work!
So right now, while criminals can get ammo through a variety of sources, law abiding New Yorkers are totally unable to buy ammunition.
There is a strong chance that we’ll have to testify to that in court. I will be testifying on behalf of my own experience with the database system.
But NYSFA’s lawyers are looking for additional parties who will testify about their inability to buy ammo. In particular, we are looking for retailers who have been unable to sell ammo!
So, if you are willing to testify alongside me in Federal Court in Rochester, please reach out to us right away!
